The Williamite Army
Left: the Scots Guards advance across a bridge in support of the Dutch
Since the picture was taken the unit have been repainted and rebased, and are now a Dutch Regiment!
The Staff
The Army Commander (Good King Billy of course)
Three Brigadiers of Foot , Two Brigadiers of Horse
The Horse (I'm sticking to a ratio of just over one squadron per foot regiment)
- Count Ginkel's Regiment of (Dutch) Horse 2 Squadrons (12 figures)
- Sir John Laniers' Regiment of (English) Horse 2 Squadrons (12 figures)
- Wolseley's Regiment of (Irish) Horse 3 Squadrons (18 figures)
- Sir Albert Connynham's Regiment of (Irish) Dragoons 2 Squadrons (12 figures)
The Foot (each of 22-24 figures - Walker's and the Fusiliers just have 18 men apiece)
- The Count van Nassau Saarbruken Ottweiler’s Regiment of (Dutch) Foot
- Col. William Steuart’s Regiment of (English) Foot (formerly Cunninghame’s)
- Col. Richard Brewer’s Regiment of English) Foot (formerly Wharton’s)
- The Royal Scots Fusiliers
- The Queen's Regiment of (Danish) Foot / Gustavus Hamilton's Regiment of (Irish) Foot
- Count Graben's Regiment of (Dutch) foot / Col. Tifflin's Regiment of (Irish) Foot
- Prince Frederick's Regiment of (Danish) Foot / George Hamilton's Regiment of (Irish) Foot
- Rev. Walker's Regiment of (Irish) Foot
Three of these regiments have second command stands, allowing me to turn them into Protestant Irish regiments for service in Ireland, or Dutch and Danish units, for service in Ireland or Flanders. Cool, eh?
The Train of Artillery
At some point I'll add another more units - my plan is to build this up to at least a 12 regiment / 12 squadron "divisional-sized" force.
Left: the Dutch Horseguards (in buff hats) take on the Jacobite Horse Right: Col. Steuart's and Col. Brewer's Foot (both English regiments) lead the advance
