This new feature was prompted by the pleas of wargaming pals in Edinburgh, who wanted to use this site to highlight figures they want to sell or even exchange.

Many of these guys are excellent painters, so their toys are well worth checking out. They're also all wargamers rather than money-grabbers, so they'll be offering figures at a fair price. My commission from them is a pint per army - in other words I don't stand to gain from this - although if it proves popular my liver could suffer..

In some cases they'll be selling figures themselves - you can click on their e-mail address to negotiate with them directly - or else this page will merely showcase the figures they've offered for sale on E-Bay or other similar sites.

I've already dipped my toe into this - that's what the page covering the Mike Earll collection of hand-built 1/1200 scale ships was designed for.

I'm sorry this page - what is essentially a wargame figure advertising page - isn't available to all-comers - its really just something which my wargame buddies in Edinburgh can use when they need to.

Oh, I had a unit of British Napoleonic figures up here, but I now realise I'll not only need them for a game in June, but I'll also need to paint a few more!

Here's the tentative start:

Angus' Note: Dougie is an excellent painter - one of the best around. I can really vouch for these, as I've fought against them, and they really look stunning.        They're worth whatever he's asking for them... even though it pains me to say it!
